3rd Graduation Day
The graduation day was held 10.07.2010 at 11.1m in the A.V.Hall. Dr. T. Padmanaban, the Vice-Chancellor of Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai was the chief guest of the function. St.Charles Matric.Hr.Sec.School Band students received him in a grand manner and led him to the College.
While waiting for Dr.David Amirtha Rajan, Dean, CDC, Madurai Kamaraj University who the additional chief guest of the day, the College committee and the faculty members were introduced to the V.C.
The Dean arrived at 11.30. The dignitaries vested themselves in the Principals’ office. The ceremonial procession started at 11.40am. accompanied by March Music. After the dignitaries reached the dais, Thamizh Thai Vaazhthu was played followed by a prayer song. The special guest Dr.David Amirtha Rajan, declared the graduation day open and invited our Principal Rev.Sr.Amali Anbarasi to deliver the welcome address and to present a report of the activites of the college. The Principal presented a brief report.
Graduation day address was done by the chief guest Dr.T.Padmanaban, in which he exhorted the graduates on the importance of commitment of a teacher. He appreciated the achievement and progress of the college.
Presentation of the candidates was done by the Principal. Then the V.C distributed the degree certificates to 75 B.Ed graduates. 22 degree certificates in absentia were handed over to the Principal.
Administration of the pledge was done by the Principal and she discovered the graduation ceremony. The graduation day came to en end with National Anthem. The chief guest, heads of the departments and the Principal marched in recession with the march music accompaniment.
The entire graduation day programme was conducted as per the norms of Tamilnadu State Council for Higher Education.
Alumni Association Day
The 2nd Alumni association was held that afternoon. The function started at 2p.m. Ms.Jamuna (Phy.Sci.Education) presented an invocation dance.It was presided over by Pulavar.RAthinam. In his speech he insisted on the need for teachers to the society and their commitment which is essential. With examples he impressed the Alumnae that theier profession is worths more than what others consider it to be and therefore they need to cherish living and loving their profession.
The election of the office bearers for the year 2010-2011 was held.

Miss.Janani Yogeswari (Bio.Sci.Edcuation) as Secretary
Miss.Beulah Sahaya Philominal (Maths Education ) as Vice Secretary
Miss.R.Sheela (Commerce Education) as Treasurer
Miss.E.Lourdhu Diana Mary (Bio.Sci.Education ) as Vice –Treasurer were elected.
To entertain the gathering Ms.P.Uma Lecturer in Tamil Education and Ms.C.Anushya Lecturer in Maths Education had organized a Quiz on “Semmozhi Manadu”. The winners were appreciated with prizes.
Ms.Ilakkiya delighted the gathering with a Bharathanatyam.
The mementos and the annual magazines were distributed by Sr.Amirtham to the alumnae.
After a cup of tea everyone dispersed.
The day turned out to be a well organized one to everyone’s satisfaction of joy.
